10th Lonar Crater Trip 2025






            The Lonar crater is the world's only salt water lake in basaltic rock, believed to have been caused by a meteorite hitting Earth around 52,000 years ago. It is surrounded by forests with a large variety of birds, particularly peacocks, owls, red-watt led, Lapwings and ducks & more than 100 different types of species are found here.

          For all nature lovers, sky observers, Astronomy lovers & for all students  Indradhanu Foundation Mumbai In collaboration with Nehru planetarium team & QINSO organized trip to this world famous LONAR Crater.

       Occasion: Quadrantids. Meteorites shower
